2006 SARF, Shanghai, China
On September 9th, 2006, Handen China, along with sponsors New York University, Renmin University of China, Wen Hui Daily and Soufun.com, hosted its 2006 Sino-American Summit for Real Estate Finance (SARF) at the Shanghai International Convention Center. This annual conference brought together US and Chinese financial experts and strategists who, through presentations, panel discussions and speeches addressed China's new financial landscape and global real estate financial cooperative models.
Discussion regarding the impacts of China's new financial policies on real estate financing attracted executive decision makers from over 100 premier Chinese real estate developers such as Vanke, Fortis, SIIC, and Shanghai Jingwei Real Estate Co. 2006 SARF provided a timely platform for the attendants, who took this opportunity to actively engage guest speakers throughout the day. By the looks of today's conference and the series of upcoming US-Sino events, real estate investment cooperation is entering a new ˇ°Golden Periodˇ±.
